Making and removing directories

To make a directory:

1. Write MD, space, and the name of the drive you want the directory to go to followed by a colon(E.X - a: or c:)
2. put the root symbol(\) after the colon
3. Then put any name for the directory that you want to create.

So lets say you want to create the directory word in the root of the A drive, the following would be your command:

MD a:\word

it is the same with moving or removing directories. Simply change the command from MD to CD or RD.
